Betting Probabilities Lines for World Cup 2010 in South Africa

Anyone appreciates which squads are the faves to win the World Cup in 2010 wagering contest. Spain is a big fave in the soccer odds at 4/1, as is five-time World Cup wagering champ Brazil at 5/1. With Italy, England and Argentina all on the list of 2010 soccer wagering faves, it’s the typical list of suspects all near the top of the sports wagering odds.
But the cluster of squads that receives pretty little attention from the online sports wagering network and maybe deservedly so is the cluster of squads in this year’s World Cup wagering tournament with the longest shot of securing the contest.
Every year there is that small number of squads that have a snowball’s chance in hell of taking even an individual game, let alone the entire soccer wagering contest. In fact, some teams are so far out their depth that several sports wagering enthusiasts wonder why they’re even featured in the World Cup odds at all.
The 2010 World Cup wagering is no exception to this principle and actually there is maybe a larger cluster of ‘no contenders’ this year than in recent years.
The team topping this list of soccer odds afterthoughts is North Korea. Not much is known about the North Korean soccer wagering squad, so there is not a great deal to say about them. The team competes only in a few soccer wagering tourneys a year and none of the participants play in a foreign league. But this team will no doubt give max effort – if the participants don’t all defect – and this squad might in fact be a bit of a wild card in the World Cup wagering. But it’s not a fave at 2000/1 soccer odds. This is the 1st time that North Korea has even qualified for the World Cup since 1966. North Korea scarcely stood a shot when they played their 1st match against Brazil on Tuesday, which they lost 1-2. Honestly, expecting a win was like asking a housecat to have a shot at beating a tiger. On the other hand, North Korea was able to pull off among the greatest upsets in World Cup history in their 1966 match. They were able to move forward to the quarterfinals after beating Italy.
New Zealand comes in with similar 2000/1 odds, and these long soccer wagering odds are well deserved. The team came from the simplest qualifying region and has no impressive participants. Their 1st match happened on Tuesday against Slovakia in Group F. They managed to pull off a 1-1 draw in that match at the last minute. New Zealand is thought to be among the two weakest squads in all of the World Cup next to North Korea. Honduras is has the 3rd worst soccer wagering odds at a more modest 750/1, but it will be a miracle if this team wins even one game. The past time they appeared at the World Cup was 1982. Algeria, another team that wasn’t anticipated to win a single match, joins the bottom five in the sports betting odds. The Slovenia team defeated them 1- in their first and only game on Sunday.
